STANDARD CONTRACT
I _________________am joining the wrestling organization known as the JBWF or the Jersey Backyard Wrestling Federation.
I am joining this organization under my own free will and was not forced or persuaded to sign this contract in any way possible.
In the event of an injury (broken bone, cuts, bruises, torn muscles, etc.) or death I will not hold the JBWF or resident of
any place where the JBWF may perform liable. If I do get an injury I will not file any court charges or any legal document
against the residents of the household or the JBWF. I have read the rules of each match that I could or would be participating
in during my career. I realize if I destroy equipment pertaining to the JBWF such as the wrestling ring, championship belts,
etc. I will automatically be suspended until that piece of equipment is either repaired or replaced by the JBWF and will have
to pay for that piece of equipment. In an act of destroying anything that doesn't pertain to the JBWF, but is owned to the
residents of anywhere the JBWF may perform I will replace or repair that piece of property. If I do not I will be excluded
from the JBWF and be taken to court for destruction of property. If any of my associates and/or friends that I invite to see
a JBWF event destroy anything I will be responsible for their actions and will have the associates and/or friends pay for
the damages.
The owner, not a wrestler, may only approve any filming of a JBWF event. If a person associated with a JBWF wrestler films
a JBWF event secretly or without the approval of the owner that wrestler will be suspended for two months. The tape will be
handed over to the owner for the erasing of the tape and the tape will be returned within three days of that act. If a person
has the approval to tape an event the owner has editing rights over that tape and will make one copy for record keeping. The
tape can be sold but only after seeking the personal approval of the owner and the wrestlers that performed on the tape, editing
by the owner, and one copy has been made for record keeping. In the event of not doing any of the instructions pertaining
to the owner will result in the tape being erased.
I am liable to partake in other roles in the JBWF such as a special guest referee, ring announcer, etc. and will take
those roles seriously and with proficiency. If I have to stop wrestling because of a serious injury I am able to partake in
other roles that were just mentioned. I understand if I do not show up for a special event and I have a championship match
my championship belt will be stripped from me and rewarded to my opponent unless the cause of my absence is death in family
or sick. But if both wrestlers are not able to compete the belt will be entered in to a tournament to crown a new champion.
In the act of a championship match victory I am allowed to wear the belt but not allowed to take/steal the belt away from
the JBWF. In the result of stealing a championship belt criminal charges will be brought to me.
I am aware that I have to put my championship on the line within three weeks of winning it. If I refuse to I will be put
into a match with no disqualification and no count out. I maybe excused from putting my title on the line because of injuries.
I realize in the result of losing a championship I can have one rematch for that title. After that if I don't win I can partake
in a number one contender ship match for the title. In the result of quitting the JBWF for any reason I must partake in one
last match if I have any championship belts in my possession. But if I am leaving the JBWF for a serious injury I am authorized
to hand down the championship to a wrestler of my choice. If I have my own championship belt that I have submitted in to the
JBWF I am authorized to let the JBWF keep it for future championship matches or keep the championship belt with me when I
leave. If I choose to leave the championship belt in the JBWF I am authorized to take it back at any given time without any
given reason.
In the event of signing this contract I must provide a complete and accurate wrestling profile of myself. This profile
will include name, height, weight, submission maneuvers, finishing maneuvers, and career highlights. I am also expected to
provide a photo of myself to go with the profile. (The photo will be returned to you and if you would like your photo updated
that is acceptable, the photo is not necessary before employment but will be expected before your first match). I am liable
to provide my own wrestling equipment/gear such as wristbands, elbow pads, kneepads, boots, knee braces, etc. I am also able
to submit wrestling ring improvements such as turnbuckles, padding of any sort, poles, ropes, canvas, etc. In the result of
an accidental event that an article of my wrestling equipment, gear, or (staging) is ripped, broken, or lost, the JBWF will
not be responsible for replacing it. If any of the weapons that I bring into the JBWF pertains to dangerous acts such as guns
of any kind, sharp objects that can cause permanent damage to a wrestler, electrical shocking devices, a vehicle I may not
use them in a match or at any time during a JBWF event.
As a wrestler in the JBWF my wrestling skills will first be analyzed by the owner and the commissioner of the JBWF. If
any of my wrestling moves seem to be death defying to my opponent or myself that move will be outlawed in the JBWF. I understand
that I can promote the JBWF in any legal way necessary. I am also willing to move with the JBWF in event that the JBWF becomes
popular enough to perform in other areas. I understand that any illegal act inside or outside of a JBWF event could result
in my career being canceled and that once I sign this contract I maybe fired without any given reason. In the act of a new
contract signing I can make alterations to my contract such as championship matches, roles, wrestling moves, etc. But the
contract must seek the personal approval of the owner. I am liable to tell other people about this business if they are interested
in wrestling, not just violence. I understand that once I sign this contract I represent the JBWF and will set an example
for my followers.
